Inside the Fireside Bed and Breakfast

Key West FL
Originally built as a private home for a wealthy merchant family from Charleston in the 1880's, this three-story Victorian was converted in to the Island City House Hotel in anticipation of the arrival of the railroad in 1912. The home offers 12 parlor suites impeccably furnished in Victorian style with hardwood floors. Behind the main house, you'll find the Arch House and the Cigar House. The Arch House, originally built as a carriage house, offers 6 suites decorated in a casual island style with bright colors, white wicker and Bahama ceiling fans. The Cigar House, built as a replicate of the Alfonso Cigar Factory that originally sat on the property over 100 years ago, offers 6 spacious suites that are individually decorated in an elegant plantation style with rattan furniture, Bahama ceiling fans and French doors. This Florida Keys Hotel is marked by its beautiful and lush tropical gardens. Enjoy the mornings with our continental breakfast and relax in the gardens as you prepare for your real Key West experience.
